From Darkness To Light
Previous - Poetry Home - Next
Deep inside my deep dark mind,
You planted a little seed,
Evil was a desperate hunger,
Fuelled by desperate need.

SIlence was a virtue,
Chaos was a friend,
That little seed started growing,
Derpression saw its end.

Black had turned to white,
Night had turned to day,
Life had returned so quickly,
Hopefully here to stay.

You came to me my darling,
Your love filled the emptiness inside,
Emotions once thought lost,
Erupted like the foaming tide.

Life once in darkness, now in light,
Or in dirty shades of grey,
Life is not so empty now,
Desperate hunger chased away.
