Give Me Your Trust -
Give me your trust, said the Aes Sedai,
For on my shoulders, I support the sky,
Trust me to know and to do what is best,
And I will take care of the rest.
But trust is the colour of a dark seed growing,
Trust is the colour of a hearts blood flowing,
Trust is the colour of a souls last breath,
Trust is the colour of death.

Give me your trust, said the Queen on her throne,
For I must bear the burden all alone,
Trust me to lead and to judge and to rule,
And no man will think you a fool.
But trust is the sound of a grave-dogs bark,
Trust is the sound of betrayal in the dark,
Trust is the sound of a souls last breath,
Trust is the sound of death.

Give me your trust, said the Creator on high,
For if time is remade, then all shall die,
Trust me to protect you from Shai'tans worst,
And let the Dragon fulfill his curse.
But trust is the taste of Mashadars mist,
Trust is the taste of a last dying kiss,
Trust is the taste of a souls last breath,
Trust is the taste of death.

Give me your trust, said the Dragon Reborn,
For I am going to die, but do not mourn,
Trust me to fight on the day of two dawns,
For on Dragonmount was i born.
But trust is the feel of a life just gone,
Trust is the feel of a battle lost and won,
Trust is the feel of a souls last breath,
Trust is the feel of death.
