Shadar Logoth - rough translation - 'where the shadow waits'. This is probably the most evil place in the Wheel Of Time world. Once named Aridhol, it was an ally to the ancient clans of Manetheren, until it was betrayed by Mordeth, and an evil worse than the Dark One himself took residence....and killed everything in Aridhol except Mordeth, who is cursed to walk the ruins of Aridhol forever! Not even the Dark Ones minions will willingly step foot in Shadar Logoth, for the evil within does not discriminate between evil and good.......
