The Ways

The ways were created in the Time of Madness, when male Aes Sedai went mad through the taint on Saidin. They were made as a gift to the Ogier for letting the male Aes Sedai take refuge in the stedding. They originally were bright, like the normal world, but as the taint grew stronger, the ways grew darker, and the Black Wind - Machin Shin was created. The stealer of souls, Machin Shin, was created with something out of the taint, something not of the Dark One, and it kills without discrimination, be them of the 'Light' or the 'Dark'. Quickly make your way to the waygate at Fal Dara, for the Black Wind awaits!
