Last Dragon
![]() ![]() As moonlight glistened off her scales,
In the air so high,
She cannot hear the moans and wails,
As people start to sigh.
Her fiery breath would light the way,
Through fog so dank and thick,
This was humanities price to pay,
Pitch all black and slick.
A stray flame caused it all to light,
Buildings licked by flames,
People screamed and ran in fright,
From fires that burn and maim.
As daylight comes and sunlight sets,
Survivors start off with a clean slate,
Rain that glistens, drops and wets,
All caught a glimpse of fate.
Voices lower as she flies past,
Sorrowful for their loss,
A pain she knew, she was the last,
Settling among the moss.
