Hope In The Dark
Although the days seem dull and black,
Although it's feeling that you do lack,
The light is there, for all to see,
There for you and there for me.
Although the nights seem dark and dim,
Although chances of feeling are seeming slim,
In the distance, there's a blinding spark,
A light to guide you out of the dark.
Although the days seem flat and dull,
Although thoughts of happiness just seem to lull,
Such feelings within, to which you are led,
The future now something you need not dread.
Although the nights feel lonely and sad,
Although your heart just feels so bad,
The are some ones, who may be near,
Who will hold you to their hearts so dear.
Although the past has been like hell,
Although some things you don't want to tell,
You may think sorrow fits like a glove,
But 'IT' will sneak up on you, and 'IT' is love.
