The Hearts Cry
Just a little poem that sprang to mind...i think its just my heart telling me what it wants, or what it sees for now, or for the future. Either way, i like it...not all doomy and gloomy ;)
Hello, my love, for now I see,
A thing seen not before,
These eyes of mine, they fill with glee,
As you waltz in through the door.
Slippered feet dance 'cross the floor,
Lips pursed for one dear kiss,
Ears listening out for just one sound,
Three words that are always missed.
The words 'I love you' roll 'cross the tongue,
Arms out in sweet embrace,
These words be spoken, these words be sung,
Sheer delight shows on your face.
I see you from across the room,
With lips of scarlet hue,
Being with you just clears the gloom,
Brings a feeling of something new.
My life complete, I lay to rest,
With the one I love so dear,
My life so far, been but a test,
But is now perfect, with you so near.
