Pour Vous, Mon Cheri
Previous - Poetry Home - Next
As the moonlight shines upon your face,
And the stars just glisten in your hair,
A time to worship untold grace,
And to let you know I care.

The night just dances when you laugh,
Your smile lights up the room,
For you, I would lay up my staff,
Or raise the dead from their tomb.

When you talk it is like song,
From one, with untold beauty and awe,
And although the distance may seem long,
My heart is already yours.

In time, together, we shall be,
Come rain or hail or lack of shine,
And in time, so I shall see,
If you, my dear, will also be mine.

'Till then, my love, these words to you,
Although it is only a start,
One thing, I know, is definitely true,
And thats the love within my heart.
